Do you race a stick shift car? Are you using a 2 step? Want to simplify your staging procedure and get more consistent and quicker reaction times?
Then you need “The Rick’s Switch” ®
What is it?
I created this easy to use system when I started bracket racing stick shift cars years ago. The concept is simple, the less there is to think and do during your staging and launch procedure the more consistent you become. Many people use a button on the shifter handle that you have to time with the release of the clutch and the tree lights. I figured since your always going to release the clutch and your always going to leave in first gear why not take as many steps out of the process as possible. Everyone that has incorporated this setup has had successful results. Its quite simple involving a completely adjustable shifter and clutch fork switching circuit. Set the shifter bracket to only engage first gear and set the clutch/bell switch bracket to only complete the circuit when the clutch is disengaged or depressed. But the applications are not limited to two step control, each switch carries a normally open and closed activation so you can trigger any* 12v system you want to control with your clutch/shifter/or combination of both(*line lock integration is solely at the discretion of the user, wiring diagrams will not be supplied for use with line lock systems at this time*).
Hands free manual transmission 2-step activation.
